The metal and welding industry is considered a high risk profession. Therefore we take the following steps to ensure we comply with Australian Standards and the Health & Safety Act 1975.
We conduct regular audits of machinery and all tools are tagged and tested for electrical compliance every 3 months.
Our staff are trained in the proper use of equipment and procedures to ensure minimal incidents either when on a customers site or in our workshop.
For the building and construction industries, we are able to provide Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) on request before commencing installation at a site which outline the process of installation, any risks we have identified and how we minimise those risks.
Staff wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work can be carried out 'out of business hours' to decrease risk to the public. We secure the area where we are working by having screens, correct lighting, temporary fencing etc and have staff dedicated to fire watch. We also hold current Certificates of Currency for insurance policies including Workers Compensation and Public Liability. For copies of our insurance papers, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
